Hydrographic Workflow Regional Training Workshops – PERTH and BRISBANE October 2025
Acoustic Imaging is pleased to announce our upcoming Hydrographic Survey Workflow Training Workshops.
For your convenience (and potential travel cost saving), the same workshop will be presented in two locations, one on the East Coast and one on the West in October 2025.
We’ll combine theory with hands-on exercises, giving you both the knowledge and the confidence to apply these hydrographic survey workflows to your own operations.

The workshops also offer an excellent opportunity to connect with expert users, ask questions specific to your workflow, and share insights with peers.

Oct 6: Australian Geodetics and processing of position/orientation data with POSPac MMS.
Oct 7: Hydrographic system setup and data acquisition with Qinsy 9.
Oct 8: Hydrographic data processing with Qimera 2 (Basics of Data Processing).
Oct 9: Hydrographic data processing with Qimera 2 (Advanced Data Processing including Water Column data).
Oct 10: Backscatter data processing and data presentation with FM Geocoder Toolbox and Fledermaus.
Brisbane from 13 to 17 October at Port of Brisbane’s Port Office
Brisbane Syllabus:

Time:
The workshops will run from 0900 to 1700 Local Time, with a lunch break in between. Lunch is included in Brisbane workshop, but not in Perth workshop. Morning and afternoon tea will be provided.
CPD:
A maximum of 8 points can be put towards GCA CPD under the 3. Other events option
Cost:
Applanix / QPS Clients under current Maintenance Agreement: $250 AUD / day / person
Applanix / QPS Clients with expired Maintenance or New Clients: $300 AUD / day / person
Cost includes training material, training dongles, and training data sets. Attendees are expected to provide their own laptops. Coffee and tea provided throughout the day (lunch not supplied).
