Topics combine theory and practice from vessel selection, installation location assessment, mobilisation, set-to-work, acceptance testing, acquisition, processing, analysis, interpretation and product generation.
Courses range generalised to manufacturer specific and can be either public or on-site and particular to the needs of an organisation or a project.
Practical sessions include use of mulitbeam echosounders, GNSS-Inertial positioning and orienatation systems, sub profilers and speed of sound in water sensors.
Classroom sessions include survey planning, local geodesy, inverse modelling theory, digital data formats, acquisition, isolation trouble-shooting, product generation and interpretation.
